New Faculty Advisor --
Dr. Frieder, one of our advisors from last year, has moved to a position at another university. We all wish her the best. Dr. McCarley will now assist Dr. Wolfe as a faculty advisor.

New Member Applications --
Psi Chi applications for the Fall 2011 induction are currently available. Applications are due on September 23. For more details on the requirements, applications are available in the Psychology Department.

Website --
The website and bulletin board will provide updates on current events and the minutes for meetings. The bulletin board is located down the hall from the entrance to the Psychology Department. http://aasupsichitwitmyer.yolasite.com/

General Fundraising --
The officers will develop ideas for fundraisers for this semester. A suggestion box will be provided for members to submit fundraiser ideas for Spring 2012.

Rock N Roll Marathon --
Tyson will be leading this fundraiser. Dr. Scott, one of our professors will be running in a marathon on November 5 to raise money for cancer research. Our goal is to raise $1,000. Fundraisers will be planned, and the effort to collect can tops is ongoing. Please take your can tops to the front office of the Psychology Department. Bake Sale --
We have had success with bake sales in the past, and Katelyn would like to reboot the bake sale for this semester. The proposed day for the bake sale is the 3rd Wednesday of each month, but this is subject to change. If you would like to assist with the bake sale, please contact Katelyn: kb6918@stu.armstrong.edu

Krispy Kreme --
Britt has proposed a Krispy Kreme fundraiser due to ease of access and the price. He does need volunteers to assist with the fundraising, so contact Britt if you are interested: vulcanraven@gmail.com

AASU Day --
This event, which has been known as Celebrate, AASU Day, and Armstrong Day will be on October 19. We had a fairly successful booth last year, and we need members to man the booth this year. If interested, please contact Alicia: ae5499@stu.armstrong.edu

Announcement: Autism Speaks U Interest Meeting --
The Autism Speaks U interest meeting will occur on Friday September 9 in Science Center 271 at 12PM. If you would like more information, please contact Lakesha Moore: lakeshamoore12@gmail.com

Announcement: College 101 & Health and Wellness --
Collegiate 100 is helping to host College 101 on September 12 and Health and Wellness on September 13. Both events will take place in University Hall 156 at 7-8:30PM. College 101 will help students understand some of the tools to succeed in college.

Eye on Psi Chi --
Issues of the latest Psi Chi digest were distributed during the meeting.

Dues --
A proposal to collect dues every semester was made at the meeting. A poll will be created for members to vote on due collection.
